Our priority is ensuring each customer receives a brand new product every time.
Because hair accessories are personal-use items, and we want to keep the highest standard of cleanliness, all sales are final.
We do not accept returns or exchanges once an order has been placed. We put care into making sure Unwritten Hour pieces are shown as accurately as possible in size and color on your screen. If you’re ever unsure about a detail before ordering, please reach out to us at hello@unwrittenhour.com and we’ll be glad to help.
SHIPPING
We aim to ship within 1 business day. Exact shipping timeframes are determined by our third party shipping partners. If you experience any significant delays or issues please contact us directly and we will resolve as a priority for you.
SHIPPING & DELIVERY — U.S.
We provide free shipping on U.S. orders over $100 via USPS Ground, with delivery typically in 4-5 business days. If you’d like your order sooner, you can select a faster shipping method at checkout. All items are in stock and ready to ship.
Please double-check that your shipping address is secure. Once a package is marked “delivered” by the carrier, we cannot replace it. To avoid issues, we recommend using an address where someone can receive the package in person. You’ll receive an email when your order is out for delivery and another confirmation once it has arrived.
SHIPPING & DELIVERY — INTERNATIONAL
We’re not quite ready to offer full international shipping just yet. That said, if you’re outside the U.S. and would love to get your hands on an unwritten hour piece, please reach out to us at hello@unwrittenhour.com We’ll do our best to work something out on a case-by-case basis.
CARE & CLEANING
Every Unwritten Hour clip is 3D printed in resin — a choice that allows us to create in small batches without excess waste. Each piece is then carefully finished by hand, giving it its own unique character.
Because of the handcrafted nature, no two clips are ever exactly alike. Please handle with care.
To preserve the finish, avoid exposure to salt water, chlorine, and harsh cleaning chemicals, as these may cause gradual wear or discoloration. For a gentle refresh, wipe with a soft cloth lightly misted with lens cleaner — this safely removes oils and smudges without harming the resin or hardware.
QUALITY ASSURANCE
We carefully inspect, polish, and package every piece before it leaves our studio. If your clip arrives damaged in transit, don’t worry — we’ll make it right. Please email photos of the issue to hello@unwrittenhour.com within 2 days of receiving your item so we can assist.
For added peace of mind, we also offer a 365-day warranty for any manufacturing defects discovered after extended use. This covers inherent flaws only and does not apply to damage from misuse. Items damaged beyond this timeframe are not eligible for complimentary replacements.
