For 120 days from the date your order is delivered, your Unwritten Hour piece is protected against manufacturing defects and issues that arise through normal, everyday use. If something isn't right and it comes down to how the piece was made, we'll make it right.

Normal use means wearing and caring for your piece as intended, in line with any care instructions provided. Our warranty covers the things outside your control — flaws in materials or craftsmanship — not damage from accidents, misuse, or ordinary wear over time.
For that reason, the following are not covered:
Excessive wear, abuse, or damage beyond normal use
Improper care, storage, or handling
Accidental damage, loss, or theft
Alterations or repairs made outside of Unwritten Hour
Normal cosmetic wear or signs of everyday use

Each order is entitled to one warranty claim. To start one, reach out to us at hello@unwrittenhour.com with:
1) Your order number or proof of purchase, and 2) a clear photo showing the issue.
The photo is required for every claim — it helps us resolve things quickly. Claims must be submitted within the 120-day coverage period, and as soon as reasonably possible after you notice the issue.

Once we receive your order details and photo, we'll review the claim, typically within 4 business days. We may ask you to return the piece for inspection; if so, we'll provide a prepaid shipping label at no cost to you.
If approved, we'll process a replacement of the same item. If that item is no longer available, we'll replace it with one of comparable value. Warranty claims are resolved by replacement only and do not include cash refunds. A replacement does not restart or extend the original coverage period.
Defective replacements: if a replacement is itself defective, it remains covered for the remainder of your original coverage period.

Unwritten Hour's sole obligation under this warranty is to provide a replacement as described above, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, Unwritten Hour is not liable for any incidental or consequential damages arising from use of its products.
We reserve the right to inspect any product before approving a claim, and to deny or void a claim in cases of misuse, alteration, or suspected fraud or abuse. We may update the terms of this warranty from time to time; the version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to your order.
This warranty does not affect any statutory or consumer rights you may have under applicable law.
